The course has a format of 9 weekend modules. Modules run over one weekend a month for a period of nine months.
Saturdays 9.00am-5.00pm & Sundays 9.00am-5.00pm.

This weekend will expand into the anatomy of breathing and movement from the centre. We will be looking at the relationships between the hip flexors and the diaphragm and immerse into exploring the abdominal chamber and it's breath rhythm. We will introduce the work of the springs as a means to enhance core integration.
We will bring our focus on the spine’s fluid movement., and finding strategies for sequencing segmental motion.
We will pay attention to the influence of organisation through the extremities: shoulder, elbow, hand, hip, knee and foot.
An introduction to “Listening touch” to read the body. We will explore manual perception skills to read fascial plasticity and orientation to gravity, making informed choices when using language or our hands to cue movement.
Goals and potential. We will explore ways to “promote health through movement while inspiring people to reach their own potential”. Each student will be assigned a case study at this point.
We will be deepening into the world of fascia, visiting elastic movement throughout the different relationships and layers that connect and separate the fascial web.
We will discuss special requirements and successfully modify Pilates exercises. We will aim to understand how to create an environment where to post-rehabilitate injury and enhance performance.
